What to expect from a Corporate Art Class
This is a hands-on class. Your team will get to try oil paints on a small canvas and take it home.
This class requires NO experience. Even if your team members haven’t made art since grade school, this class is for them.
What you won’t learn is how to paint a “thing”. There are many classes and paint nights that focus on the group producing a specific image. I call those Apple on a Table classes and I’m not interested in teaching those.
My classes focus on encouraging you to let go of the idea of expecting a certain result and rather to be loose, free and more focused on the process rather than the result. I want you to walk out of the class saying “I want to do more of that” with some basic information to help you do just that.
The format of the class allows lots of room for talking between team members.
Classes are a maximum of 12 participants.
Masks are MANDATORY. There is good ventilation, a room HEPA filter and a CO2 monitor will be running.
A note about me: I am a self taught artist with no formal training. I can’t (and don’t want to) teach how to paint like {insert master here}. I want to teach how to find joy in painting which will help discover how to paint like YOU. I want to inspire and give some basic tools to start your own painting journey.
