HH-24 is my interpretation of a Herbig Haro object as seen by the Hubble Space telescope. Herbig Haro objects are related to newborn stars and are made of plasma from ionized gas hitting dust in a star forming nebula. These jets can be travelling 100’s of kilometers per second and can extend for hundreds of millions of kilometers. This HH object is sometiumes known as the “cosmic light sabre” and is located in the Orion Nebula.
